Cabbies seek relief from Goa airport fees

Vasco: The All-Goa Yellow-Black Taxi Association on Saturday submitted a memorandum to the director of the Goa International Airport, Gagan Malik, requesting relief from the Rs 50 fee its members are required to pay each time they pick passengers from the airport.
The association stated that if its members were forced to pay the fee, they would proceed to collect the amount from their customers.
They also said they would not be responsible if any problems arose thereafter as they were required to charge passengers strictly as per the rates approved by the directorate of transport.
