Flight to Delhi delayed by 3 hours

Ahmedabad: Passengers who were scheduled to travel from Ahmedabad to Delhi on Monday morning by SpiceJet flight, SG-8194, expected to start their workday in time. But little did they know that a delayed flight would ruin their plans. The flight, which was scheduled to depart from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) airport at 6.05pm, was forced to return to base, as a technical flight cropped up in the aircraft at the time of take-off.
Well-placed sources confirmed that the aircraft suffered a technical fault at the time of take-off and was forced to return from the runway to the bay. Passengers were made to wait in the aircraft for more than two and a half hours, while the fault was being addressed, said a source.
When contacted, the airline spokesperson said, “SpiceJet Flight SG-8194 operating Ahmedabad – Delhi on November 18, was delayed due to a last-minute technical issue. The flight has already landed in Delhi and is continuing its onward rotation.”
