Qatar, India hold talks on air transport

New Delhi: Bilateral talks between the civil aviation authorities of Qatar and India were held in New Delhi on Monday.

The Qatari side was chaired by HE the Chairman of Qatar's Civil Aviation Authority Abdullah bin Nasser Turki al-Subaie, while the Indian side was headed by the Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation Pradeep Singh Kharola.

HE Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar al-Baker also attended the talks.

Talks dealt with relations between the civil aviation authorities of Qatar and India and its importance on the volume of trade exchange between the two countries and matters of mutual interest.

The two sides stressed the need to continue bilateral meetings for greater co-ordination in matters related to civil aviation.
