Mohali: Bad weather delayed 15 flights and cancelled another at the Chandigarh international airport on Monday.
Air Vistara Delhi flight arrived over 4 hours late, causing much inconvenience to passengers. The flight number UK-667 departed late from Delhi at 11.48 am against the scheduled time of 7.10 am. The flight was scheduled to arrive at Chandigarh at 8.15 am but landed at 12.46 pm.
Air India Kullu flight was cancelled. GoAir Mumbai-Chandigarh flight was diverted to Delhi at 11.30 am. It landed back at 2.30pm and departed for Mumbai at 3pm, said a spokesperson.
Other major flights affected were Air India AI-621 from Mumbai, landing late by 2.49 hours at 11.19am against the scheduled time of 8.30am. The flight departed late from Mumbai. The Air India flight from Dharamshala landed late by 1.38 hours at 11.08am against the time of 9.30 am. This flight was also late on Sunday.
