Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir High Court on Tuesday dismissed the Public Interest Litigation seeking directions to upgrade the Civil Airport, Jammu as par with the international airports with provision of inflow and outflow of international flights in view of large number of pilgrims visiting Jammu from outside the country to pay obeisance to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in which an application was filed by 10 applicants praying for the reasons stated and to be submitted at the time of hearing.
The petition was filed by Advocate Ravi Abrol.
A Division Bench of Jammu and Kashmir High Court Jammu Wing Comprising Chief JusticeGita Mittal and Justice Rajesh Bindal did not find any merit in the petition and dismissed the same.
