New Delhi: A person reportedly posing to be an Indian Air Force (IAF) officer was apprehended at Delhi Airport on Sunday while he was waiting to board an Air India flight to Bikaner.
According to sources, the young person was in IAF uniform and was repeatedly seeking a “delay certificate” from AI for the flight AI 9833. Incidentally, a senior IAF official was waiting to board a flight to Lucknow from a nea- rby gate at T3 and he got suspicious by the behaviour of the Bikaner-bound person.
“First the real IAF official questioned the Bikaner-bound person who was dressed in IAF uniform. When the latter could not answer questions, the former called up IAF HQ,” said sources.
