Pune: On International Volunteer Day, Vistara recently united its employees towards its goal of promoting education and holistic development of children from diverse backgrounds. Vistara employees volunteered a total of 180+ hours and impacted the lives of close to 500 children in India, Dubai and Singapore.
Vistara joined hands with Smile Foundation to support their ‘Mission Education’ programme, a nationwide programme committed to enhancing the level of basic education in rural areas. As part of this initiative, Vistara invited Abeer Magoo, a budding, nine-year old aviation geek and social media influencer, for a fun session on art, colours and aviation, meaningfully engaging children studying at one of the Mission Education centres. As part of its ongoing #RethinkSingleUsePlastic initiative, Vistara also presented the children with reusable water bottles, encouraging them to discontinue the use of single-use plastic.
