Aurangabad: After private airline operator Indigo opened sales for flights to Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad to be operational from February 5 from Aurangabad, it has now announced flight to Bengaluru from February 20.
On December 24, Indigo had announced 180-seater Airbus 320 aircraft on the three routes.
The flights to be operational from February 5 include Mumbai-Aurangabad at 6.25 am, Aurangabad-Mumbai 8.20 am, Delhi-Aurangabad at 2 pm, Aurangabad-Delhi at 4.40 pm, Aurangabad-Hyderabad at 1 pm and Hyderabad-Aurangabad at 11.20 am.
Now, the private airline operator has announced flights to Bengaluru from February 20. The Bengaluru-Aurangabad flight will take off at 12.40 pm and the Aurangabad-Bengaluru flight will take off at 2.45pm. This flight will also be facilitated with Airbus 320 aircraft. The sale for this flight to and from Bengaluru started on Wednesday.
The new Bengaluru-bound flight is in addition to the existing flight operations by Air India, Spicejet and TruJet. The Aurangabad airport is already facilitating flights to and from Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru.
