One CBC headline stood out, in large white capital letters: “A Canadian Tragedy.” Those words spiked a lightning jag of loss into my gut. They transported me to June 23, 1985, the day of the terrorist bombing of Air India Flight 182, which murdered 329 passengers and crew. The day my Aunty Zeb and Uncle Omar vanished from this planet.
