New Delhi: Indian aviation industry veteran Sanjay Kumar is back in IndiGo after over a year during which he was chief operating officer of AirAsia India Pvt Ltd (AAIPL).
Kumar, a part of IndiGo’s management team formed during the low cost carrier’s inception, was chief commercial officer when he quit to join AAIPL in November 2018.
After spending a year in AirAsia, Kumar resigned and will now join IndiGo as chief strategy and revenue officer. In his earlier stint that lasted 12 years, he was head of network and commercial at IndiGo.
Kumar has over 25 years experience in Indian aviation industry across functions like business planning, strategy, network development, distribution and sales in IndiGo, Air Sahara, Royal Airlines and SpiceJet.
