Kolkata: A SpiceJet flight travelling from Mumbai to Guwahati with 183 passengers on board made an emergency landing in Kolkata on Wednesday morning.
All passengers are safe.
The pilot earlier contacted air traffic control in Kolkata suspecting a leakage in the fuel tank, PTI reported, quoting unnamed sources.
But an inspection of the plane showed that the leakage was in the water tank, the sources said.
The plane made the emergency landing at around 9 am.
On January 13, a SpiceJet flight travelling from Varanasi made an emergency landing at Chennai airport.
