Mumbai: Passengers who had booked flights to destinations battling Covid-19 have complained that airlines aren’t waiving cancellation fee and agents aren’t giving change of dates. But a couple of firms have begun giving respite to flyers.
Travel app ixigo on Wednesday announced a full refund for all flight bookings concerning China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iran, Italy, Spain, Singapore, South Korea and Japan for travel dates up to March 31. Among airlines, British Airways has waived its change fee to allow passengers the flexibility to delay travel booked for the next two weeks.
