CISF nabs 9 while trying to fly to Canada on forged documents at IGI Airport

New Delhi: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at Delhi Indira Gandhi Airport has detected nine passengers including four females who were trying to travel to Toronto in Canada with fake documents, an official statement said here on Monday.
One of them was an intermediary who was helping them to exchange the travel documents was also arrested. At about 2230 hrs on Saturday night, on the basis of behavior detection, CISF personnel noticed suspicious activities of four passengers in check-In area of terminal-3 of IGI airport here. They were kept under close watch through physical and electronic surveillance.
During PreEmbarkation Security Check (PESC) at Security Hold Area (SHA), they showed the boarding passes of Air India flight No.AI-349 bound for Mumbai. According to CISF,on completion of their security check, they were intercepted and enquired. On enquiry, initially they showed their boarding passes of Air India flight No.AI-349, bound for Mumbai, but on tactfully questioning, they produced the passports in the name of Arun Kapoor, Krish Kapoor, Ms Muskan Kapoor and Ms Riya Kapoor, having immigration stamp bound for Toronto on March 8. Subsequently, their luggage were thoroughly checked.
On physical search of their baggage, some ID cards such as Pan Card and Voter ID Card in the name of Patel Hardik Kumar, Mr Patel Vishwas Vishhnubhai, Ms Parsanba Jivaji Zala and Ms Patel Hinal were also recovered, the Force further said.
