Moment two pigeons fly through the cabin of a GoAir plane in India just before take-off as passengers attempt to grab the birds above their heads

This is the moment a pigeon flies through a plane shortly before take-off after two stowed away on the aircraft in India.

Footage shows one of the unexpected passengers flapping through the cabin as a customer tries to grab it and another asks whether it has a boarding pass.

The birds were rapidly ejected by staff on the GoAir Ahmedabad-to-Jaipur flight, which took off on time.
A 42-second clip from the plane shows a pigeon swoop through the cabin three times, as staff duck to avoid the panicked bird.

A baby can also be heard crying on the plane as passengers talk about how the birds will affect their journey.

The birds were found when the luggage shelf was opened after the flight gates were shut and everyone had boarded, a passenger said.
Airline GoAir told the Economic Times that the birds were quickly removed.

'Two pigeons found their way inside the GoAir's Ahmedabad-Jaipur flight G8-702 while passengers were boarding (the aircraft),' they said.
'The crew immediately got the birds shooed away. The flight took off as per its scheduled departure of 5pm Friday.

'GoAir regrets any inconvenience caused to its passengers and requests the airport authorities to get rid of this menace.'
