New Delhi: An aircraft of staterun Air India reached Delhi in the early hours on Sunday with more than 19 tonnes of mandatory medical equipment from China.
Air India has set up an 'aerobridge' to import essential medical supplies from China.
Under this, the first flight reached Delhi with 19,416 kg of medical equipment from Shanghai. Flight number AI349 landed at Delhi airport at 0450 hrs.
India has also sought permission to operate more aircraft from Shanghai and Hong Kong for import of medical equipment.
