After the mandate for resuming domestic flight operations from 25th of May 2020 by the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation), the airports have now started preparing for the flights and people that will be travelling whilst maintaining social distance.
Chennai Airport Director Suneel Dutt speaks on their preparedness of the airport and the staff to maintain all guidelines given by the government to curtail the spread of Coronavirus. He talks about the new travel protocols like thermal screening, regular disinfection to stop the spread and make it safer for travellers.
