Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with key ministers and top officials of the government at his residence in 7 Lok Kalyan Marg on Friday. Also Read - Amid Lockdown, Centre Likely to Announce Economic Package For MSME Sector Soon
At a meeting chaired by PM Modi, it was decided that the Indian Air Space should be effectively used in such a manner that the flying time is reduced benefitting travelling public & helping airlines to save costs in close co-operation with the Department of Military Affairs: PMO
The meeting is believed to have discussed the different scenarios the government may face after the nationwide lockdown ends on May 3. Though still premature, the possibility to explore options of allowing limited domestic flights under strict conditions can not be ruled out, said informed sources.
