Malayali pilot to fly plane evacuating Keralites from UAE

Sharjah: A Malayali and a former student at Indian School in Sharjah will be among the
evacuation team that will fly out Keralites from UAE on Thursday. Riswan Nasar (26), a
native of Chullikkal in Kochi, is the co-pilot of the Air India Express flight from Abu Dhabi
to Kochi scheduled on May 7.
The flight will leave from Kochi at 2 pm (IST) and land in Abu Dhabi at 4 pm (UAEST). It
will fly back carrying Keralites stranded here and reach Kochi by 9.40 pm (IST).

Jordan flying school qualifying himself for Indian pilot licence.
Then he passed the Air India exam and has been working as co-pilot for three years
completing 5,000 hours of flying. When he completes 10,000 hours, he will qualify to be
a Pilot in Command or the flight captain.
Riswan is the son of P M Nasar (Sales manager at a private institution and member of
Sharjah Indian Association Managing Committee) and Jeluna. He has two siblings Dr
Ayisha Nasar (Chennai) and Dr Fahim Nasar (Kozhikode Medical College), both former
students of Indian School in Sharjah.
