More options for flyers to Pune, Mumbai, A’bad from 1st

While most of the flights currently operating from city are witnessing as low as 30 per cent occupancy, city’s air passengers will have more options from June 1. According to sources, GoAir is all set to start its services on Pune, Mumbai and Ahmedabad routes. Air India and IndiGo had resumed services from May 25 to select destinations, but suspended operations on some of the routes after a day. Due to confusion and low turnout of passengers, air services were called off.

As of now only couple of flights are leaving form Nagpur, sources said. However, GoAir will start Nagpur-Pune flight which will take off at 10.20 am from city and reach the destination at 12 noon. GoAir’s another flight on Pune-Nagpur will depart from Pune at 7.25 am and reach Nagpur at 8.50 am. Similarly, Nagpur-Ahmedabad flight will depart at 8.45 am and reach Ahmedabad at 10.25 am. Ahmedabad-Nagpur flight will take off from Ahmedabad at 5.05 pm and arrive at Nagpur at 6.30 pm. Also, Nagpur-Mumbai flight will take off at 7.30 pm and reach Mumbai at 9.10 pm whereas Mumbai-Nagpur flight will depart from Mumbai at 6.15 am and reach Nagpur at 7.40 am.

Air India had announced flights on Delhi-Nagpur route on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Similarly, Air India flight was supposed to depart from Nagpur at 10 am and arrive at Delhi 11.50 am on Monday, Thursday and Saturday said one of the travel agents adding that the national air carrier had suspended the services. Indigo is operating select flights on Mumbai, Delhi and Bangaluru routes. Meanwhile, IndiGo is operating two flights on Nagpur-Mumbai route. Flight 6E-297 departs daily from Nagpur at 11.30 am and reaches Mumbai at 1 pm.
