Air India special flight brings 125 MP students from Kyrgyzstan

Indore: 125 Indian students from Madhya Pradesh stranded in Kyrgyzstan during lockdown period were brought by an Air India’s special flight under the ‘Vande Bharat Mission’ that landed at Indore on Sunday evening. The passengers included 12 medical students from Indore and remaining were from other districts of the state.

The students had earlier in a video appealed to chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to arrange for their travel back home to districts and cities in Madhya Pradesh.

“We were stuck there for the last three months. We are very thankful to the MP government for making arrangements to bring us back home,” Priya Patidar, one of the students from Neemuch told TOI after landing at the Indore airport.
