As the number of novel coronavirus cases in Delhi are rising every single day, GMR led Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has decided to ensure that each taxi that enters the airport vicinity is properly sanitised. DIAL has issued guidelines to all authorised taxi services operating to and from the Delhi Airport. To allay safety-related concerns of the passengers all taxi operators have been asked to implement precautionary measures. The Delhi airport has also set up a dedicated area at the entry point of its parking zone to ensure cabs coming there to pick up passengers are thoroughly sanitised, according to a Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) statement.
