Mangaluru: The third chartered flight hired by Praveen Shetty, chairman of the Fortune Group of Hotels, and president of the Karnataka Non-Resident Indian Forum (KNRI), landed from Sharjah at Mangaluru International Airport on Wednesday June 17.
The Air Arabia flight carried 168 adult passengers and six infants.
The flight left Sharjah at 9.45 pm (UAE time) on Tuesday June 16 to land in Mangaluru at 2.50 am on Wednesday.
It may be recalled, Praveen Shetty has earlier sent two chartered flights with the first one on June 1, a SpiceJet flight with 181 passengers from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport to Mangaluru International Airport.
The well-known businessman has been doing his bit in helping Kannadigas stranded in UAE due to job loss, health issues and others.
