US-Bangla Airlines to take 45 Indian sailors home

US-Bangla Airlines will repatriate 45 Indian sailors -- stranded in Bangladesh due to suspension of regular passenger flights on international routes due to Covid-19 -- home by a special chartered flight tomorrow.

"Carrying the Indian sailors, the special chartered flight of US-Bangla Airlines will leave Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 9:00am and is scheduled to land in Delhi at 12:30pm," US-Bangla Airlines said in a press release.

The sailors, currently in Chattogram city, will come to Dhaka, the release undersigned by Kamrul Islam, general manager, public relations, US-Bangla Airlines, also said.

Mumbai-based Sea Dogs Marine Services Private Ltd is supervising their journey home.
US-Bangla will be taking the sailors in coordination with Indian High Commission in Dhaka, Bangladesh Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Indian Foreign Ministry, and Civil Aviation Authorities of both India and Bangladesh, said the release.
