Indian Embassy in UAE issues helpline numbers for distressed families of Air India crash

Indian Ambassador to the UAE, Pavan Kapoor grieves over Kozhikode plane crash that claimed the lives of at least 16 people.

Ambassador Kapoor said on Twitter, “Distressed to learn of this accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with the passengers and their families.”

The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi said, “India Consulate will be open tomorrow Saturday August 8 at 8am to assist all who want any assistance to travel to Kerala or any information related to air crash incident. We are with all the families of injured and deceased and will do our best to assist them @MEAIndia

The embassy also shared helpline number, “Air India Express Flight No IX 1344  from Dubai to Calicut skidded off the runway.

We pray for well being of passengers and crew and will keep you updated as and when we receive further updates.”
