New Delhi: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has issued an updated state-wise quarantine, movement regulations for domestic passengers in order to address concerns raised on quarantine norms in different states. Air passengers need to keep these travel advisories in mind to ensure a safe and smooth journey. In Tamil Nadu, if you come in from abroad, even if you are tested COVID negative, you are mandated to go into institutional quarantine. This is the standard operating procedure (SOP) in Tamil Nadu although the central government exempts COVID-negatives from institutionalised quarantine and allows them home quarantine.
