Aurangabad: The Air India has announced direct flights on Aurangabad-Mumbai route from September 22 for three days a week — Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
As per official schedule, an Air India flight for Aurangabad will leave from Mumbai at 6 pm on aforesaid days and is expected to reach Aurangabad by 7.20 pm. On the return journey, the flight will depart from Aurangabad at 8.20 pm and will fly to the state capital by 9.35 pm.
The Aurangabad Tourism Development Foundation (ATDF) has welcomed the entry of the national carrier on an air-route between Aurangabad and Mumbai. “It is a welcome move and will benefit passengers including tourists from the country and abroad,” ATDF president Jaswant Singh said.
