Bhubaneswar: Air India will be resuming its direct flight services between Bhubaneswar and Surat and vice-versa from September 9.
The service will be available twice a week on Monday and Wednesday, Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) sources said.
The Air India flight from Surat to Bhubaneswar will depart from Surat at 3.30 PM and arrive at Bhubaneswar at 5.20 PM.
Similarly, Bhubaneswar to Surat flight will depart from Bhubaneswar at 6.20 PM and arrive at Surat at 8.10 PM.
The Air India maiden flight from Bhubaneswar to Surat had commenced on January 20 this year. However, it was suspended two months after it’s operation following the COVID-19 outbreak.
