Bhopal: Aviation sees a break in clouds

Bhopal: With 100% staff in attendance, Bhopal’s Raja Bhoj airport has been working full swing since September 1. The number of flights per day is only 10, but there’s hope ahead. Airport director, Anil Vikram, said a new flight is to start on Sept 16.
“A flight from Bhopal to Kolkata is to start from Sept 16. A Bangalore flight is also to be started on all seven days from September 15,” said Vikram.

The Kolkata flight will be operational on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. About the staff, Vikram said that full strength staff of the Airports Authority of India is attending office. On the improvement of flight frequency, Vikram said, “Things are getting positive gradually. We are hoping to get things normal sooner or later.”
