Chennai airport resumes safe operations amid COVID pandemic

While the Airports Authority of India has been endeavouring a safe, COVID-free environment across the country, it is the Chennai International Airport that is setting the precedent for the rest. Its extensive safety measures have not only instilled a sense of confidence into passengers but have successfully enabled a sudden spike in Chennai based flight operations.
From its re-equipped entry protocols with key focus on touch points to hand hygiene to face protection of passengers and thorough disinfection of their luggage, the airport is ensuring a flying experience which is free of both virus and anxiety. Isolation rooms with emergency facilities have also been developed within the premises. Effective preventions have also enabled the airport to resume its international operations with Dubai bound flights.
Airports across the country that have been rapidly upgrading their infrastructure and services boast of being the third largest air traffic carriers across the globe with projections showing an even better number in coming times. Pandemic has massively affected their operations. However, a deeply committed Airports Authority of India has shown that the health crisis was just not enough to dampen their spirit. They have vowed to fly even higher now.
