All the formalities have been completed and have even received green signal from Ministry of
Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala has played a key role in realising the dream of Airport
and held series of meetings with Ministry of Civil Aviation and airways companies in the
lockdown.
Chautala further fixed the duties of the officials for speedy clearance of the project
from environment department.
It was hard work of the Deputy CM that it got NOC from environment department and helped
the state government to start its work on October 27 .
Deputy CM said it was expansion work of Airport and increased the length of Airstrip. He said a
new Airstrip measuring 3000 meter would also be constructed.
He said apart from this, Taxi-way, taxi stand, parking space of airplane, terminal and Air Traffic
Control System would also be built besides boundary wall and proper fencing would be ensured.
Chautala told that Hisar Airport would be built at the modern lines and there would be facility of
night landing of flights there. The proper mechanism would be made available for the easy
landing of flights during low visibility.
