Karanvir Bohra slams SpiceJet for no waiver on 4kg extra luggage. Rules, reminds Internet

Mumbai: Karanvir Bohra is disappointed with SpiceJet for not giving him a waiver on 4kg extra luggage. The actor took to social media to express his disappointment and also called it "poor customer service". However, Twitter users slammed him and lauded the SpiceJet employee who charged Karanvir Bohra for the extra luggge and reminded the actor that rules are same for everyone.

Karanvir Bohra took to Twitter and wrote, "Very disappointed with @flyspicejet airline #dehradun ... For a mere 4kg excess on 2 bags your exec Deepak couldn't give a costumer a waiver on the Bags, the point is not about the money. This is just poor customer service (sic)."

Spicejet replied to Karanvir Bohra's tweet and wrote, "Hi Mr.Bohra, we truly understand your concern. However, in case of excess baggage, charges shall be levied as per the policy which is applicable for all our customers. Rest assured, your feedback has been noted (sic)."

Karanvir Bohra might be disappointed with SpiceJet but Twitter users called out the actor for asking a waiver and reminded him that rules should be same for everyone. A user wrote, "Be it 1kg or 4kg, rules are rules for everyone. What if everyone on the plan puts an extra 4kg and everyone asks for a waiver!!! The guy in the counter is just doing his job. Asks about waiver and then says it's not about money. Strange!!! (sic)."

Another user tweeted, "Keep it up #Deepak job well done @flyspicejet (sic)."

A user mentioned that if Karnavir would have flown via United Airlines, he would have been charged much more. While, another one asked why should Karanvir Bohra be an exception. "Why should You be an exception @KVBohra ....RULES are RULES for everyone... Keep up the good work @flyspicejet (sic)," tweeted the user.
