The Embassy of India in Cambodia has arranged a third repatriation flight to help stranded Indian citizens in the Kingdom return home.
According to an announcement by the Indian Embassy, the direct flight will leave Phnom Penh International Airport this month, before landing at Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Ticket prices are reportedly $340 for an adult, $255 for a child and $34 for an infant for Economy Class and $800 per adult and $80 for an infant in business class.
The baggage allowed per passenger is 30 kilogrammes during Check-In and 7 kilogrammes in cabin luggage. Any excess baggage will be charged at a flat rate of $20 per kilogramme.
Indian Embassy official, Aadarsh Kumar Mishra told Khmer Times that bookings have not started because they are still dealing with local authorities regarding some formalities.
However, he said when the flight goes ahead some 149 passengers are expected to board, with departure time expected to be around 3:20pm, the same time as the previous flight.
Indian nationals looking to book a ticket can contact the Indian Embassy to book their flight and those who do not have e-mail address or online payment options can visit the Embassy to purchase their tickets by paying cash.
Those passengers willing to pay online can send their details to the embassy email address – visa.phnompenh@mea.gov.in – and they will receive a link to make the online payment.
The Indian Embassy has also announced that tickets will be issued on the basis of priority, which will be decided by the embassy.
Passengers who travelled on the previous repatriation flight to New Delhi had expressed concern about the high cost of tickets.
