Coimbatore: Air India will resume its afternoon flights between Coimbatore and Chennai on December 23.
The flight, which was popular people planning to fly out to Europe and the US from Chennai, was suspended due to the Covid-19 lockdown.
This flight will also act as a one-stop, one-way flight from New Delhi. The flight departs from New Delhi at 10am, lands in Chennai at 1pm, departs at 1.45pm and lands in Coimbatore at 2.10pm.
The Coimbatore – Chennai flight departs at 3.10pm. “Though we have given a flying time of 90 minutes, the flight will land in Chennai in 55-60 minutes,” said an Air India official.
