Bharat Bandh impact: Indigo crew pulls luggage through wheat fields in Punjab. Video goes viral

Chandigarh: Of course, the Indigo crew is used to pulling their luggage at airports and hotels when they land or are scheduled to take a flight. But what they perhaps were never trained for was to pull their luggage on a narrow link road in the middle of wheat fields for nearly 2 km in an attempt to reach an airport and take a flight.

This happened in Punjab on December 8, the day when farmers observed a 'Bharat Bandh' to press their demand seeking repeal of the three farm laws.

Due to the nationwide shutdown call, transport in Chandigarh was severely affected.

The Indigo crew was reportedly staying at a hotel in Chandigarh while the airport is located in Mohali, Punjab. Owing to 'Bharat Bandh', cab services in the city were down on December 8.

Now, a video has gone viral where the Indigo crew is seen pulling their luggage through a narrow link road passing through lush green wheat fields.

The person who shared the video, Ashok Raj, confirmed to India Today TV that it was shot on December 8 by the crew themselves. He said one of the pilots on the spot is known to him.

Ashok said as protesters did not allow movement of cabs up to the airport that is located in Mohali, Punjab the crew had to walk for about two kilometres.
