Air India starts daily non-stop flight between Delhi and Agartala

Agartala: A month after launching non-stop flights between New Delhi and Agartala thrice a week, government-owned enterprise Air India has announced to increase its daily fleet from tomorrow to manage the passenger's pressure. 
 At present, IndiGo has been operating a daily direct flight in the route besides five connecting fleets. The 180 seats daily IndiGo airbus starts from Delhi at 1210 hrs and reaches Agartala at 1440 hrs while returning at 1520 from here and landing Delhi at 1810 hrs. 
 Initially, Air India non-stop Delhi-Agartala flight runs on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Now the 146 seats Air India airbus would start at 0525 hrs from Delhi and reach Agartala at 0800 hrs. The same flight will fly from Agartala at 0900 hrs and land Delhi at 1200 hrs.
Only Air India and IndiGo have been operating as many as 16 flights in Tripura connecting Agartala with Guwahati, Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangaluru and all other major cities of the country after the resumption of flight service during Covid-19 pandemic.
