Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma reviews Shillong-Delhi flight operations with official of FlyBig Airlines

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma reviewed flight operations between Shillong and Delhi with officials of FlyBig Airlines.

Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma discussed various steps that could be taken to improve connectivity and prospects of launching airbus operations with the officials of FlyBig.

“Reviewed flight operations from Delhi-Shillong with FlyBig Airlines. Discussed segmented marketing, ways to improve connectivity & prospects of launching airbus operations. Officials directed to get a permanent slot for operations to facilitate flow of traffic,” CM Conrad Sangma said.

FlyBig is a regional airline service that aims to connect tier-2 cities within India.

FlyBig began operations in December 2020.

Before the airline began any scheduled flights, the airline had won its first route under a government Tender to serve Shillong from Delhi.

Flybig Airlines will be operating flights twice a week between Shillong and Delhi.

Meghalaya was connected with the national capital by direct flight services on December 21.

On February 6, FlyBig transported the team of Meghalaya Association of Kickboxing Organization from Shillong to Delhi.
