Mangaluru: SpiceJet delay baggage - Commuters express disappointment

Mangaluru: Several commuters who arrived from Dubai to Mangaluru International Airport via SpiceJet have complained regarding the delay in baggage.

Speaking to Daijiworld Santhosh Noronha, one of the passengers said he had boarded SpiceJet in Dubai Airport (DXB) on Thursday, February 5. "After arriving at the Mangaluru airport, exactly after exiting the aeroplane, two staff of SpiceJet asked the passengers for boarding passes. Later, they asked a few passengers to proceed. For the remaining passengers, they informed that their checked-in baggage did not arrive, as the aeroplane can not carry baggage over the capacity of the flight. They then asked us to proceed to the ground floor for further information. After the process of immigration, while commuters arrived at SpiceJet counter they informed us that the baggage will be delivered to passengers on Sunday, February 7."
