Case for protesting at Air India office: Court grants bail to TV Rajesh Mohamed Riyas

Kozhikode: The court granted bail to MLA T V Rajesh, DYFI All India secretary P A Mohamed Riyas and DYFI former district secretary P P Dineshan in connection with a case for protesting at Air India office.
The bail was granted by First Class Magistrate Court in Kozhikode on the condition that they should appear before the court without fail during the trial.
Though a warrant was issued in connection with a case registered by Nadakkavu police in 2010, the CPM leaders did not appear before the court. There were other accused in the case, but only these three leaders failed to appear before the court.
All other accused were later acquitted. As the high court directed to settle the case at the earliest, the accused were asked to appear before the court. But the judge ordered to remand them for 14 days.
