New Delhi: IndiGo has doubled its airport check-in fee for passengers to Rs 200 from Tuesday. India’s biggest airline had started levying a service fee of Rs 100 from October 17, 2020, on passengers checking-in at airport counters.
The move was to get more passengers to do web check-in for a contactless travel experience during Covid.
Web check-in is mandatory in these pandemic times. “Check-in online for free 48 hours to 60 minutes before flight. Facilitation fee of Rs 200 for airport check-in with assistance,” IndiGo website says.
