AAI top official & ex-chairman Anuj Aggarwal succumbs to Covid

New Delhi: Airports Authority of India (AAI) member (HR) Anuj Aggarwal succumbed to Covid on Thursday. AAI’s senior most board member since December 2014, he was its officiating chairman twice for a few months in 2019 and this year.

Aggarwal put in over 32 years aviation sector in various capacities like regional executive director (northern region) and airport director of three major international airports of Goa, Jaipur and Ahmedabad.”

Aggarwal was a man of action, a leader par excellence who rose through the ranks at AAI and has left an indelible mark in the minds of all the people he had met. He will be missed dearly,” AAI said in a statement.

A number of senior officials from the aviation ministry, AAI, DGCA and other agencies are battling Covid.
