Flying to West Bengal on SpiceJet? Check the New Rules

The budget airline has issued a new set of travel advisories for its passengers arriving in West Bengal from eight states

As COVID-19 cases continue to surge in the country, SpiceJet has issued a new set of travel advisories for passengers arriving in West Bengal from eight states.

Those arriving in West Bengal from Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Kerala, and Karnataka have to provide mandatory negative RT-PCR tests from April 26.

SpiceJet added that the negative report has to be from an ICMR-approved lab issued within 72 hours from swab collection.

The new advisories were issued a day after the government of West Bengal made it mandatory for travellers flying from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Chhattisgarh to produce a negative RT-PCR report upon arrival in the state.
