Vistara distributes hygiene essentials among vulnerable affected by pandemic

Pune: Vistara said that it had recently concluded Phase II of the ‘Vistara Wellness Initiative’, thereby contributing 1000+ wellness kits containing dry ration and sanitisation essentials to several vulnerable families across India.

An official of the airline said that similar efforts will continue.

“Aligned with Vistara’s philosophy of giving back to the local communities it operates in, the ‘Vistara Wellness Initiative’ was rolled out in April 2020 with Phase I culminating in September 2020. The Phase II of the initiative witnessed a collective effort from the entire Vistara network in India including metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore etc. and other cities including Dibrugarh, Ahmedabad, Leh, Port Blair etc. Organisations such as Pee Safe and the Robin Hood Army also joined the airline in its initiative by contributing hygiene items and managing on-ground distribution, respectively,” the official said.
