Mangaluru: The customs officials of Managaluru International Airport have arrested a person and seized gold worth of Rs 20.89 lakhs being smuggled from Dubai on Friday.
According to a statement issued here,the officials said they have registered an offence case against a male passenger hailing from Kasaragod who arrived from Dubai by Air India for smuggling of gold in powder form mixed with solid gum concealed in rectum totally weighing430.000 grams in net valued Rs. 20,89,800/-.
