CEO Burzin Daver to launch state of art aircraft refurbishment facility at Mumbai

Refurbishment of aircraft cabin parts was a costly affair because of the requirement to send them overseas or replace with new parts. Livewel, a well-known aircraft refurbishment company, is set to inaugurate its new unit in Mumbai to cater to the needs of domestic airlines and the regular aviation market. The facility has experienced and skilled engineers and technicians who are working round the clock. The facility plans to carry out a complete restoration of 10,000 cabin parts, including seats, tray tables, shrouds, fairings, seat cover, and carpet stitching. It also has an automated spray paint booth to deliver exquisite finishing to the cabin parts. 

Air India our national carrier has entered into a long-term agreement with LAT to refurbish its fleet of wide-body aircraft. The company will also provide periodic changing services to the aircraft carpets, as per the policy of Air India, to refresh the look of its cabin interiors.

The LAT refurbishment facility is a DGCA-approved AMO with CAR 145 approvals. The facility will conform to the international quality of aviation standards, and its team consists of airline professionals with comprehensive experience and training in this sector. During a conference, the CEO of Livewel, Mr. Burzin Daver , stated that “The Mumbai LAT facility is fully equipped to handle the refurbishment of cabin parts from all airlines. Our state-of-the-art unit can now do all kinds of repairs.”
