Bhubaneswar: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC), the tourism arm of Indian Railways, has decided to resume tour packages in the new normal conditions adhering to Covid protocols. It has announced domestic air packages covering a wide range of tourist destinations in Kashmir, Gujarat, Goa and Rajasthan.
IRCTC’s regional office will start this tour from August 20. It has named the tour packages as 'Heaven on Earth-Kashmir’, ‘Gujrat with Statue of Unity’, ‘Goa Delight’ and ‘Rajasthan-Desert Circuit’. Tourists will board their flights from the Biju Patnaik International Airport here.
Kranti P Sawarkar, regional manager of IRCTC’s Bhubaneswar regional office, said they operate the most affordable domestic air packages available in the tourism industry. “We have launched these four tour packages as per the scheme of ‘Dekho Apna Desh’. We hope people will like our packages and book it,” she added.
