New Delhi: IndiGo will resume flights between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 1.30 am (IST) on Friday (August 20), a company spokesperson said.
UAE had suspended IndiGo flights for a week from Tuesday (August 17) after reports that it flew some passengers without conducting the rapid PCR test at departure airport.
“IndiGo will recommence flight operations between India and UAE from 1.30 am IST (August 20). We have informed all our passengers and any inconvenience caused is regretted,” said an IndiGo spokesperson.
Among other ever-changing pandemic-time requirements, the UAE currently also requires airlines to conduct a rapid PCR test on every passenger 4 hours before flight departure time at the airport.
Due to this, airlines ask passengers to reach airport at least 6 hours before their fight departure time for UAE.
