Over 100 flyers/day booked passenger assist services last quarter: Mumbai airport

Mumbai: Over 15000 passengers have paid and used the passenger assist `Pranaam Services' at the Mumbai between April and July, said Mumbai International Airport ltd (MIAL). Out of these, over 500 were senior citizens and approximately 33% were first-time passengers.

The services are priced from Rs 500 for basic assistance with baggage for domestic passengers and goes up to Rs 6850 for assistance right from aerobridge, lounge access, immigration, baggage etc for international passengers, said MIAL.

Apart from airports, airlines too offer passenger assist services, like for instance, free mobility assistance for passengers by providing wheel chair along with an attendant.
