More flights to connect Indore from October 31

Indore: The daily flight movement between Indore and the national capital is all set to increase from October 31 with the announcement of as many as 16 flights on the route in the new winter schedule. For Mumbai and Ahmedabad, Indore will have 10 flights each, while at least eight flights would operate between Indore and Hyderabad, as per the new winter flight schedule approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Indore airport officials said that as many as 85 flights have been approved for 18 domestic routes under the winter schedule, which will become effective on October 31, and will be in place till March 26, 2022. “Indore-Delhi is the busiest route and that is why airlines have reserved maximum slots for flights on the route. IndiGo will operate a maximum of eight flights, followed by four flights of Vistara, while Air India will operate two flights on this busy route,” said airport officials.

Similarly, on the Indore-Mumbai route, IndiGo will operate eight and Air India will have two flights. As many as 10 flights have also been approved for the Indore-Ahmedabad route with a maximum of them to be operated by IndiGo. Flights to Surat, Jodhpur and Prayagraj have also been proposed and would start from November 1.

FlyBig is also going to resume its operations and is scheduled to start flights on the Indore-Ahmedabad and Indore-Gondia routes.
