IAF's Suryakiran team, LCA Tejas steal limelight at Dubai Air Show

Dubai: Metal birds of the Indian Air Force dazzled against the glittering Dubai skyline at the Dubai Air Show 2021 this week. The Indian Air Force's (IAF) Suryakiran Aerobatics Team and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Al Fursan display team conducted a magnificent flypast at Dubai Airshow on November 17. Nine Hawk 132s of the Suryakiran team flew in sync with seven Aermacchi MB-339 of Al Fursan over some of the most important landmarks of Dubai such as the Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah and Burj Al Arab.

The main attractions of the Indian Air Force contingent at the Dubai Air Show 2021, the Suryakiran aerobatics team of the IAF also participated in a late afternoon display at the Dubai Air Show 2021. The breathtaking maneuvres of the IAF team at the Dubai Air Show 2021 were highly appreciated by the crowds.

Besides the Suryakiran aerobatic team, the made-in-India Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas showcased its superior flying ability, manoeuvrability and ease of handling against the golden backdrop of the Dubai skyline.

The Dubai Air Show 2021 kicked off at the Al Maktoum airport in Dubai on Sunday. A significant aviation event in the middle east, the show was inaugurated by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai.
