New Delhi: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) will develop an app and have a dedicated helpline to facilitate seamless pre-departure security checks for persons with disabilities.
CISF’s outgoing acting director-general M A Ganapathy on Thursday organised a meet with NGOs and top officials of the aviation ministry and Bureau of Civil Aviation Security that was virtually attended by chief airport security officers of all 64 airports secured by the force.
It was decided to form a committee of stakeholders at all airports under CISF cover to examine issues faced by persons with disabilities. Personnel will be specially trained to provide sensitive security checks of the differently abled
